Description

A refreshing and creamy Strawberry Coconut Cloud Smoothie featuring frozen fruits, cashew milk, almond butter, and vanilla protein powder, layered with coconut yogurt and freeze-dried strawberries for a beautiful marbled effect. Perfect for a quick, nutritious breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

Scale

Smoothie Ingredients

  • 1 cup cashew milk
  • 2 frozen bananas, broken into chunks
  • 1/2 cup strawberries
  • 1/4 cup frozen raspberries
  • 2 scoops Ka’Chava Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla paste or vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Garnish

  • 3 large dollops of coconut yogurt
  • Crushed freeze-dried strawberries for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Break the frozen bananas into chunks or slice them with a knife to help the blender process them more easily.
  2. Blend Smoothie: Add all smoothie ingredients—cashew milk, frozen bananas, strawberries, raspberries, protein powder, almond butter, vanilla, and salt—into a high-powered blender. Start blending on low speed for 30 seconds, then increase the speed to medium-high and blend for another 2 minutes until smooth and creamy.
  3. Arrange Glass: Spoon three large dollops of coconut yogurt into the bottom of your serving glass. Use a spoon to swirl the yogurt up along the sides of the glass creating a marbled effect.
  4. Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle crushed freeze-dried strawberries on the side of the glass to enhance the marbled look. Pour the blended smoothie gently into the glass over the yogurt swirls. Enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Use a high-powered blender for the smoothest texture and easier blending of frozen fruits.
  • Freezing the bananas and raspberries beforehand enhances the smoothie’s creaminess and chill.
  • For a vegan version, ensure your protein powder and yogurt are plant-based.
  • You can adjust the sweetness by adding a little honey or maple syrup if desired.
