Instructions
- Prepare the Avocado: Slice the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl or mortar and pestle.
- Add Seasonings and Cream Cheese: Add the Everything Bagel Seasoning and red pepper flakes to the avocado. Using the back of a fork or a pestle, mash the cream cheese and avocado together, mixing in the seasonings until you reach your desired consistency.
- Adjust Consistency: For a creamier and thinner texture, add the heavy cream one tablespoon at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition, until you achieve the preferred texture.
- Serve: Spread the mixture on toast, bagels, or use it as a dip with vegetables and chips.
- Store Leftovers: To store, press plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the remaining spread to prevent oxidation. Keep in the refrigerator for up to 1-2 days. If the spread darkens due to oxidation, simply scrape off the top layer and enjoy the rest.
