Ingredients
Scale
Filling
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 4–6 dill pickle spears, drained and patted dry
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon garlic powder, to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh chives or green onions, finely chopped (optional)
Wraps
- 4 large flour tortillas (or wraps)
Instructions
- Prepare Your Ingredients: Leave the cream cheese at room temperature for about 10 minutes to soften. Drain and pat dry the dill pickle spears to keep them crisp inside the rolls.
- Spread the Cream Cheese: Lay one tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread a generous and even layer of the softened cream cheese across the entire surface of the tortilla.
- Add Seasonings and Pickles: Sprinkle garlic powder over the cream cheese layer to taste. If using, scatter the finely chopped chives or green onions evenly. Place the drained pickle spears in a line along one edge of the tortilla.
- Roll Them Up: Carefully roll the tortilla tightly starting from the edge with the pickles, ensuring the filling stays in place. Use a little extra cream cheese to seal the edge if needed.
- Slice Into Bite-Sized Pieces: Use a sharp knife to slice the rolled tortilla into 1-inch bite-sized pieces. For cleaner slices and easier handling, refrigerate the roll for about 15 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Make sure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature for easy spreading.
- Patting the pickles dry prevents the rolls from becoming soggy.
- You can substitute the flour tortillas with low-carb or gluten-free wraps if desired.
- Refrigeration before slicing helps to hold the shape better.
- This recipe can be easily doubled or tripled for parties.
